## Description

The Adafruit Feather ESP32-S3 brings the ESP32-S3 microcontroller to Adafruit's popular Feather ecosystem, offering native USB-C (no separate USB bridge chip), WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, BLE 5.0, 8MB flash, and a built-in LiPo battery charger in the standard Feather footprint. Native USB means the board can act as a USB HID device, CDC serial, or MIDI instrument straight out of the box.

The ESP32-S3 runs a single Xtensa LX7 core at 240MHz and includes 512KB of on-chip SRAM. The Feather ESP32-S3 exposes the standard Feather pinout: 6 analog inputs, hardware I2C (STEMMA QT connector), hardware SPI, UART, and PWM via the LEDC controller on all GPIO. A STEMMA QT / Qwiic port on the board allows daisy-chaining I2C sensors and displays without soldering.

Compatible with CircuitPython, MicroPython, Arduino, and ESP-IDF, this board is a natural choice for wireless wearables, portable data loggers, USB HID gadgets, and any project that benefits from the wide range of Feather Wings and accessories. The onboard MCP73831 charger manages a single-cell LiPo battery at up to 100mA, keeping the board powered in the field.
