The Adafruit ItsyBitsy ESP32 is a tiny yet powerful development board built around the ESP32-PICO-MINI-02 module, packing dual-core 240MHz Xtensa LX6 processing, 8MB flash, 2MB PSRAM, and full WiFi 802.11 b/g/n plus Bluetooth Classic and BLE 4.2 into the compact 36×17.8mm ItsyBitsy form factor.
Despite its small size, the board exposes a generous set of I/O: 11 GPIO pins, 6 analog inputs, hardware I2C, SPI, and UART, plus LEDC PWM available on every GPIO. USB-C via a CP2102N bridge handles programming and serial communication, while an onboard MCP73831 LiPo charger lets you run the board from a rechargeable battery.
The ItsyBitsy ESP32 is compatible with Arduino, ESP-IDF, MicroPython, and CircuitPython, making it a versatile choice for IoT sensors, smart-home gadgets, wearables, and any wireless maker project where board real estate is at a premium. It fits directly into breadboards and can be soldered into tight enclosures where a full Feather or development board would not fit.
