Overview

The LILYGO T-Watch Ultra is the most feature-rich smartwatch development platform from LILYGO, combining the ESP32-S3 with an impressive array of integrated peripherals into a complete wearable computing system.

The centerpiece is a 2.06-inch AMOLED display (CO5300 driver, 410×502, 16.7M colors) with capacitive multi-touch (CST9217). Beyond standard smartwatch features, the Ultra integrates a SX1262 LoRa transceiver for long-range off-grid communication, GNSS for location tracking, NFC for contactless interactions, a MAX98357A Class-D amplifier for audio output, a DRV2605 haptic driver for tactile feedback, and a microphone for voice input.

Power management is handled by the AXP2101 PMIC, which manages the 1100mAh LiPo battery with fuel gauging and multi-channel power rails. The built-in microSD card slot enables data logging and offline audio playback. This comprehensive feature set makes it ideal for search-and-rescue trackers, off-grid mesh network nodes, and custom smartwatch firmware development.
