The BigTreeTech SKR Pico V1.0 is an ultra-compact 3D printer control board built around the Raspberry Pi Foundation's RP2040 dual-core ARM Cortex-M0+ microcontroller running at 133MHz. It was purpose-designed for the Voron 0.1 and similarly sized small-format 3D printers, offering a highly capable 32-bit platform in an extremely small PCB footprint.
The board features 4 stepper driver sockets supporting TMC2209 and other popular drivers in UART and SPI modes. It includes 3 heater outputs (1 bed, 2 hotends), 4 thermistor inputs, 3 PWM fan outputs, and RGB LED support. The RP2040's dual-core architecture and PIO state machines make it particularly well-suited to Klipper's real-time motion control requirements.
Connectivity includes USB Type-C for host communication (Klipper/Marlin interface), a MicroSD slot, and a 40-pin Raspberry Pi compatible GPIO header for direct integration with a Pi host. The board operates on 12–24V DC input. Full hardware design files are open-source and available on GitHub, with excellent Klipper community support for Voron builds.
