## Description

## Overview

The LILYGO T-SimCam is an ESP32-S3R8-based development board that combines camera capabilities with cellular connectivity through a mini PCI Express slot compatible with LILYGO T-PCIE SIM modules. The board supports multiple camera modules — OV2640 (2MP), OV5640 (5MP), OV5640 with autofocus, and IR-CUT variants — paired with an I2S digital microphone for audio capture. Onboard storage is available via TF card slot. The ESP32-S3R8 provides dual-core LX7 processing at 240MHz, 8MB embedded PSRAM, 16MB flash, WiFi 802.11, and BLE 5.0 with Bluetooth mesh. The mPCIe cellular module must be purchased separately, enabling 4G LTE or other cellular standards depending on the chosen T-PCIE module.
