The BigTreeTech PAD 7 is a purpose-built all-in-one 3D printer control panel combining a 7-inch 1024x600 IPS touchscreen with a pre-installed CB1 compute module. The CB1 is based on the Allwinner H616 quad-core Cortex-A53 @ 1.5GHz with 1GB DDR3L RAM, and comes with a 32GB SanDisk microSD card preloaded with a Klipper-ready OS image. An optional Raspberry Pi CM4 can replace the CB1 for additional performance.

The display delivers 500 cd/m² brightness, 178° viewing angle, and 5-point capacitive touch, with tactile vibration feedback for button presses. Connectivity includes 100Mbps Ethernet (Gigabit with CM4), dual-band WiFi via the CB1 module, 3x USB 2.0 host ports, a USB OTG Type-C port, and a CAN bus interface via an onboard MCP2515 SPI-CAN controller. An SPI header allows connecting an ADXL345 accelerometer for input shaper calibration directly.

Additional features include a built-in 1W speaker, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and an ambient light sensor for automatic brightness adjustment. Power input is DC 12V/2A. The PAD 7 measures 185.7 x 124.78 x 39.5mm and is designed to mount on a standard 3D printer frame or enclosure. All hardware schematics and firmware are published open-source on GitHub.
