## Description

The BigTreeTech CB2 is a high-performance compute module designed as a direct Raspberry Pi CM4 replacement for 3D printer control and general SBC applications. It is built around the Rockchip RK3566 quad-core ARM Cortex-A55 processor running at 1.8GHz, paired with a Mali-G52 GPU, 0.8 TOPS NPU, and either 2GB or 4GB LPDDR4 RAM. Onboard 32GB eMMC provides fast, reliable storage.

Connectivity includes dual-band WiFi (2.4G/5G, 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac up to 433Mbps), Bluetooth 5.2, and Gigabit Ethernet. The board offers four USB ports (3x USB 2.0, 1x USB 3.0), a 40-pin GPIO header, PCIe 2.1 1x1 (M.2 2242 support), Micro HDMI 2.0 output (up to 4K 60Hz), MIPI DSI display, and dual-lane MIPI CSI-2 camera interface. Board dimensions are 40 x 55mm with a CM4-compatible BTB connector, making it a drop-in upgrade over the CB1 or original Raspberry Pi CM4.

The CB2 uses the same OS image system as the BTT Pi2, with Klipper-ready Debian/Armbian images provided by BigTreeTech. The GitHub repository contains OS images, build scripts, and the Linux kernel source code. It targets demanding Klipper workloads and embedded Linux applications that need more CPU and I/O bandwidth than the older CB1.
