## Overview

The Heltec CubeCell 1/2AA Node (HTCC-AB02A) is a compact LoRa/LoRaWAN development board designed for ultra-low-power remote sensor node deployments. Built around the ASR6502 system-on-chip — which integrates an ARM Cortex-M0+ processor running at 48MHz with a Semtech SX1262 LoRa transceiver — it achieves a remarkably low 3.5 microamp deep sleep current, making it well-suited for years-long battery-powered operation on a single 1/2AA lithium cell.

The board comes with a built-in 1/2AA battery holder, SMA antenna connector, and integrated CP2102 USB-to-serial bridge for programming and debugging via Micro-USB. It supports LoRaWAN 1.0.2 protocol across multiple frequency bands (433MHz, 470-510MHz, 863-870MHz, 902-928MHz) and delivers up to +22dBm transmit power with -135dBm receive sensitivity, enabling long-range communication in diverse deployment environments.

Development is straightforward thanks to full Arduino IDE and PlatformIO compatibility through the CubeCell-Arduino framework.
