Overview
The Arduino Nicla Vision packs a complete AI vision system into a 22.86×22.86mm module. Powered by the STM32H747AII6 dual-core processor (Cortex-M7 at 480MHz + Cortex-M4 at 240MHz), it integrates a 2MP GC2145 camera with support for TensorFlow Lite Micro and OpenMV for on-device image classification, object detection, and barcode reading.
Beyond vision, the module includes a 6-axis LSM6DSOX IMU with machine learning core, MP34DT06JTR MEMS microphone, VL53L1CBV0FY time-of-flight distance sensor, and WiFi/BLE connectivity via the Murata 1DX module. This sensor fusion enables sophisticated edge AI applications combining vision, motion, audio, and proximity data.
Compatible with the Portenta, MKR, and Nicla ecosystems, it supports MicroPython and OpenMV for rapid AI prototyping. Designed for quality assurance, predictive maintenance, access control, and smart automation where on-device visual intelligence eliminates the need for cloud processing.
