## Overview

The LILYGO T-Panel S3 is a dual-processor smart home panel combining an ESP32-S3 for main application logic with an ESP32-H2 co-processor providing native IEEE 802.15.4 connectivity for Zigbee 3.0, Thread 1.3, and Matter 1.0. The result is a standalone smart panel that speaks all modern smart home protocols without any additional hardware.

The centerpiece is a 4-inch IPS LCD (ST7701S, 480×480, RGB+SPI interface) providing a large, vivid touch display for wall-mounted control panels, thermostats, and home dashboards. Optional RS-485 and CAN FD expansion modules extend compatibility to industrial protocols and BMS systems.

The T-Panel S3 is designed to be flush-mounted in standard electrical wall boxes, making it a professional alternative to commercial smart panels. Its ESP32-S3 runs the UI and WiFi connectivity while the ESP32-H2 handles low-power Zigbee/Thread communication, enabling it to serve as a Matter bridge gateway for existing Zigbee device ecosystems.
