The BigTreeTech K-Touch is a portable 5-inch WiFi touchscreen designed to control Klipper-based 3D printers wirelessly. It shares the same hardware platform as the Panda Touch — Xtensa 32-bit LX7 dual-core ESP32-S3R8 running at up to 240MHz, 16MB Flash, and 8MB PSRAM — but is tailored for the open Klipper ecosystem rather than Bambu Lab printers.
The 800x480 IPS touchscreen with 16.7 million colors connects to the printer's Klipper/Moonraker API over 2.4GHz WiFi (IEEE 802.11 b/g/n) and can manage up to 50 Klipper printers from a single device. A USB port supports FAT32 flash drives for loading 3MF print files. I2C expansion headers allow sensor add-ons. The built-in lithium battery provides up to 30 minutes of portable operation, rechargeable in approximately 1.2 hours. A magnetic charging dock is included in the package.
The K-Touch runs its own dedicated firmware (not KlipperScreen) optimized for the ESP32-S3 platform. Full firmware source code and hardware schematics are published on GitHub. The wiki page at bttwiki.com provides detailed setup instructions and configuration options.
