The BigTreeTech HDMI5 V1.0 is a universal 5-inch IPS touchscreen display that connects to any HDMI-capable device including Raspberry Pi, BTT Pi, CB2-based boards, and standard PCs. The 800x480 resolution panel features 5-point capacitive touch, a 160° wide viewing angle, and a built-in audio decoding circuit with a 3.5mm headphone/speaker output.
The display receives video via HDMI and touch data via USB Type-C. On Windows and Linux PCs, it is recognized automatically without additional drivers. Brightness is adjustable via dedicated buttons. A red power indicator (D11) and green status indicator (D12) provide at-a-glance operational status. Logic voltage is 3.3V and power input is 5V DC.
The HDMI5 measures 121x76mm, making it a compact panel suitable for mounting on 3D printers, CNC machines, or DIY projects. It is a popular companion for BIGTREETECH SBCs running KlipperScreen or Mainsail. Hardware design files are open-source on GitHub.
