## Description

## Overview

The Rock 2A is Radxa's entry-level SBC based on the Rockchip RK3528A quad-core Cortex-A53 SoC. It targets the affordable end of the SBC market, offering onboard WiFi 5 (802.11ac) and Bluetooth 5.0 alongside Gigabit Ethernet — a combination that makes it versatile for both wired and wireless deployments without requiring additional adapters.

Available in 1GB, 2GB, and 4GB LPDDR4X configurations with eMMC storage from 8GB to 32GB, the Rock 2A covers a wide range of use cases. A microSD slot provides additional flexibility. USB connectivity includes USB 3.0, USB 2.0, and a USB-C OTG port, while HDMI output supports 4K video decode for media applications.

Armbian supports the Rock 2A, and Radxa provides its own Ubuntu and Debian images with active documentation. The board is powered via USB-C and features a 40-pin GPIO header for hardware expansion. Its combination of integrated wireless, compact size, and affordable price makes it an accessible entry point into the Radxa ecosystem for makers and embedded developers.
