Overview

The Heltec HT1303 is a mini-PCIe-based LPWAN concentrator module built around the Semtech SX1303 digital baseband chip and SX1250 Tx/Rx front-end. It enables easy conversion of computers, Raspberry Pi, or routers into LoRaWAN gateways by simply plugging into a standard mini-PCIe slot.

Key Features

  • SX1303 + SX1250 chipset — emulates 49 LoRa demodulators and 1 (G)FSK demodulator
  • 10 programmable parallel demodulation paths for high-capacity gateway operation
  • Multi-band support — 470–510 MHz, 863–870 MHz, 902–928 MHz
  • Dual interface — SPI or USB connectivity to the host
  • Industrial mini-PCIe form factor (52-pin golden finger connector)
  • Wide operating temperature — -40°C to 85°C
  • Dynamic data-rate adaptation (ADR) with automatic adaptive spread spectrum (SF7–SF12)
  • Listen Before Talk (LBT) optional support
  • Windows and Linux USB drivers provided

Proven Track Record

The HT1303 module is used in several proven Heltec commercial gateway products including the HT-M01S, HT-M02, HT-M7603, and HT-M2802.
