Overview
The Radxa E52C is a compact networking-focused single-board computer powered by the Rockchip RK3582 hexa-core SoC (two Cortex-A76 performance cores plus four Cortex-A55 efficiency cores) with a Mali-G610 GPU. The RK3582 is a cost-optimised variant of the RK3588S platform, offering significantly more CPU performance than the RK3568 while remaining affordable for gateway and router deployments.
Available with 4 GB or 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and onboard eMMC storage, the E52C features dual 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet ports for WAN/LAN separation, a mini-PCIe slot for cellular modem cards, a dedicated SIM card slot, and USB 3.0 connectivity. The board is designed for fanless operation in a compact enclosure. Measured Ethernet throughput on both ports exceeds 940 Mbit/s in real-world tests.
Armbian provides standard support images based on Debian 13 and Ubuntu 24.04 with kernel 6.1. The E52C targets network appliance builders, edge AI developers, and system integrators who need a step up from RK3568-class boards without paying the full RK3588 premium.
