## Description

## Overview

The Radxa Rockpi E is a compact single-board computer built on the Rockchip RK3328 quad-core Cortex-A53 SoC with a Mali-450 GPU, capable of 4K H.265 hardware decode. Available with 1 GB, 2 GB, or 4 GB of DDR4 RAM, the board is particularly notable for its dual Ethernet configuration — both a Gigabit and a Fast Ethernet port — making it well-suited for small router or network appliance builds without additional hardware.

Storage options include an eMMC module socket and a microSD card slot. Optional WiFi 4 and Bluetooth are available as an add-on module. USB 3.0 Type-A and USB 2.0 ports handle peripherals, and the USB-C port provides power and data. An analog audio codec and I2C/I2S interfaces extend the board's usefulness for media and sensor projects, while Docker compatibility makes it a capable lightweight container host.

Armbian supports the Rockpi E with mainline kernel images based on Debian and Ubuntu in both minimal and desktop configurations. The board is an excellent choice for home network appliances, lightweight container hosts, and embedded Linux projects where compact form and dual Ethernet are valuable.
