## Description

## Overview

The Radxa Rock S0 is one of the smallest Linux-capable single-board computers in the Radxa lineup, powered by the Rockchip RK3308B quad-core Cortex-A35 SoC. With a postage-stamp footprint, it targets deeply embedded applications — voice assistants, IoT gateways, audio streaming, and minimal-footprint Linux nodes. RAM is modest at 256 MB or 512 MB of DDR3, paired with 4 GB or 8 GB of eMMC flash and a microSD slot for additional storage.

Wireless connectivity is provided by an onboard WiFi 4 (802.11n) and Bluetooth 5.0 module, with an optional external antenna connector for improved range. There is no wired Ethernet port. The USB-C port serves as both the OTG data interface and 5 V power input. The RK3308B includes a built-in 8-channel audio codec, making the Rock S0 well-suited for smart speaker and voice capture projects.

Armbian provides minimal/IoT images based on Ubuntu 24.04 and Debian 13 for the Rock S0, with kernel 6.18 support. The board requires the `rkdeveloptool` utility and MASKROM mode for direct eMMC flashing, and supports CPU overclocking to 1.3 GHz via device tree overlays.
