## Description

## Overview

The Radxa Rock 5 ITX brings the power of the Rockchip RK3588 into a standard Mini-ITX motherboard form factor, making it the most fully-featured Radxa SBC to date. With 16 GB of LPDDR4X soldered RAM, two M.2 M-key NVMe slots (PCIe 3.0), dual 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet ports, and a PCIe x4 slot for expansion cards, this board can serve as a capable ARM desktop or high-performance NAS head.

Power is delivered through a standard ATX 24-pin connector, making the Rock 5 ITX compatible with off-the-shelf PC power supplies and Mini-ITX cases. Wireless connectivity comes via WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0, while display output is provided through HDMI 2.1 and a DisplayPort-capable USB-C port supporting up to 8K resolution. The RK3588 NPU provides 6 TOPS of AI inference performance for edge machine learning tasks.

Armbian supports the board with both vendor and mainline kernels and offers Desktop images including GNOME and KDE Neon, as well as NAS-specific images via OpenMediaVault. The Rock 5 ITX targets power users who want a full Linux desktop built on ARM or a low-power always-on server in a standard PC enclosure.
