Overview

The BigTreeTech EBB SB2209 CAN is a toolhead board specifically engineered for the Voron StealthBurner carriage. Powered by the Raspberry Pi RP2040 microcontroller, it consolidates all toolhead wiring into a single CAN bus cable, significantly reducing wiring complexity on the toolhead. It supports both CAN bus and USB communication, making it flexible for both CAN and direct-USB printer setups.

Key Features

The board features an integrated TMC2209 stepper driver in UART mode, an ADXL345 accelerometer for Klipper input shaping calibration, and a MAX31865 IC supporting PT100/PT1000 RTD sensors. Fan outputs include two standard CNC fans (FAN1, FAN2) and a dedicated 4-wire PWM fan port (4W_FAN). It handles up to 9A input on 12–24V and connects to the StealthBurner toolhead via a matching 30-pin connector.

Open Source

Hardware schematics, PCB layouts, pin diagrams, and Klipper sample configuration files are all published on the GitHub repository at github.com/bigtreetech/EBB. The board runs Klipper firmware exclusively.
