Overview
The LILYGO T-Zigbee is a unique dual-MCU development board that combines the Espressif ESP32-C3 and the Telink TLSR8258 on a single board, with both microcontrollers operating simultaneously. The ESP32-C3 (RISC-V, 160MHz, 400KB SRAM, 2.4GHz WiFi + Bluetooth 5 LE) handles WiFi connectivity and cloud communication, while the Telink TLSR8258 (ultra-low-power) provides dedicated Zigbee, BLE 5 Mesh, Thread, 6LoWPAN, RF4CE, HomeKit, and ANT protocol support. This combination makes the T-Zigbee ideal as a Zigbee-to-WiFi gateway, smart home automation controller, or multi-protocol IoT node. The T-Zigbee PA variant adds a PA amplifier chip and stronger external antenna for extended Zigbee range. A T-U2T USB-to-UART adapter is available for easy programming.
