Overview

The Arduino Opta WiFi is a professional micro PLC co-developed with Finder, bringing Arduino's ease of use to industrial automation. Built around the STM32H747XI dual-core processor (Cortex-M7 at 480MHz + Cortex-M4 at 240MHz), it provides the processing power for real-time control, predictive maintenance, and IoT connectivity in a DIN-rail-mountable industrial enclosure.

Connectivity options include WiFi, Bluetooth LE, and Ethernet with Modbus TCP/RTU support for fieldbus integration. Four high-power relays rated at 2.3kW each can directly switch AC loads, while 8 configurable analog/digital inputs handle sensor data. Hardware-level security via the onboard secure element with X.509 certificate support ensures encrypted communication.

The Opta supports standard IEC 61131-3 PLC programming languages (Ladder Logic, Function Block Diagram) alongside Arduino IDE and Arduino Cloud, enabling OTA firmware updates and remote dashboards. It's CE and UL certified for industrial deployment.
