Overview

The Arduino Opta Lite is the most affordable entry point to Arduino's industrial PLC lineup. It shares the same STM32H747XI dual-core processor and robust industrial enclosure as the Opta WiFi, but trades WiFi and Bluetooth for a lower price, making it ideal for wired industrial installations where Ethernet is the primary network.

The Opta Lite includes Ethernet connectivity with Modbus TCP support, four 2.3kW relay outputs for direct AC load switching, 8 configurable analog/digital inputs, and USB-C for programming. Hardware security via the onboard secure element ensures encrypted communication, and the DIN rail mounting fits standard industrial panels.

Supporting IEC 61131-3 PLC languages (Ladder Logic, Function Block Diagram) alongside the Arduino IDE, the Opta Lite bridges the gap between traditional PLCs and modern IoT development. CE and UL certified for deployment in production environments.
