## Description

## Overview

The Adafruit HUZZAH32 brings the power of the Espressif ESP32 to the Feather form factor. The ESP32 WROOM32 module features dual Tensilica LX6 cores running at 240 MHz, 520KB of SRAM, 4MB of SPI flash, integrated 802.11b/g/n HT40 WiFi, and dual-mode Bluetooth (Classic + BLE) — all in one module with an FCC-certified radio.

Compared to the 8266-based HUZZAH, the ESP32 doubles the cores, adds Bluetooth, dramatically expands the peripheral set, and provides hardware security features. Twelve analog inputs, two DACs, ten capacitive touch inputs, three UARTs, three SPI ports, two I2C buses, and I2S audio make it a capable platform for sophisticated IoT applications.

The Feather form factor means a built-in LiPo charger (with JST connector) and 3.3V regulator, making the HUZZAH32 easy to deploy as a battery-powered wireless device. An onboard CP2104 USB-to-serial converter handles programming via the Micro-USB port, and the red LED on pin 13 provides a quick test target.

The board is compatible with the Arduino IDE (ESP32 board package), CircuitPython, and MicroPython. The ESP-IDF is also available for bare-metal development. With 19 GPIO pins broken out, it has room for most projects while fitting the standard Feather footprint.
