## Description

## Overview

The Libre Computer Tritium H5 is an upgraded version of the Tritium lineup, featuring the Allwinner H5 quad-core Cortex-A53 64-bit SoC — a significant step up from the 32-bit H3. Available with 1 GB or 2 GB of DDR4 RAM, the Tritium H5 delivers improved memory bandwidth and ARM64 support, making it better suited for modern software stacks. Built-in 8 GB eMMC storage provides fast, reliable boot and OS storage alongside the microSD slot.

Unlike the H3 variant, the Tritium H5 upgrades to a Gigabit Ethernet port, substantially improving network throughput for server and NAS use cases. Four USB 2.0 Type-A ports handle peripheral connectivity, and there is no onboard Wi-Fi or Bluetooth — the board stays wired-first. The 5V micro-USB power input and 40-pin Raspberry Pi-compatible GPIO header round out the feature set, ensuring broad compatibility with the existing Pi accessory ecosystem.

Armbian fully supports the Tritium H5 with 64-bit mainline kernel images, enabling a modern Debian or Ubuntu environment. The board's ARM64 architecture, Gigabit Ethernet, and on-board eMMC make it a particularly capable platform for lightweight NAS builds, home automation hubs, DNS servers, and any Linux project that benefits from 64-bit addressing.
