## Description

## Overview

The TI TMDS62LEVM is a display evaluation module for the AM62L processor, a dual-core Cortex-A53 variant of the AM62 family optimized for display-centric applications. Unlike the quad-core AM62x, the AM62L targets cost-sensitive HMI and thin-client designs where the display subsystem is the primary workload. The evaluation board features DSI and HDMI display outputs, making it straightforward to evaluate panel integration.

The board is generously specified: 2GB LPDDR4 RAM, 32GB eMMC storage, dual Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 connectors, one USB Type-A 2.0, one USB-C dual-role device port, an M.2 slot for WiFi/Bluetooth module, and multiple UART interfaces for debug and peripheral connection. Power is supplied via USB-C at 5V.

Armbian provides kernel 6.12 support for the TMDS62LEVM, making standard Linux distributions available for evaluation. This board is primarily targeted at display and embedded Linux engineers developing AM62L-based products such as industrial panels, smart displays, and thin-client terminals.
