## Description

## Overview

The Inovato Quadra is a remarkably affordable ARM Linux mini PC, starting at $29, built around the Allwinner H6 quad-core Cortex-A53 SoC. It ships pre-loaded with Armbian (Debian 11 Bullseye) and includes power adapter in the box — making it the lowest-barrier entry point into ARM Linux computing with Armbian Platinum support.

The hardware is modest by design: 2GB RAM, 16GB eMMC flash, WiFi 4 (2.4GHz), HDMI 2.0 (4K@60Hz output), one USB 3.0 and one USB 2.0 port, and a 100Mbps Fast Ethernet port (a notable limitation for network-intensive workloads). The fanless aluminum enclosure doubles as a passive heatsink, keeping the system silent for always-on deployments. A 3.5mm composite AV port provides an alternative video output for older displays.

The Quadra Plus model upgrades to dual-band WiFi 5 (802.11ac), Bluetooth 4.2, and adds a USB hub — making it better suited for wireless applications. Both models use the same Allwinner H6 SoC and support Armbian's full software ecosystem.

For the price, the Quadra punches well above its weight as a Pi-hole DNS server, lightweight home automation hub, remote SSH node, small MQTT broker, or basic media playback device. It is one of very few sub-$30 ARM Linux devices with Armbian Platinum support, making it an excellent choice for fleet deployments or hands-on Linux learning.
