Overview
The DFRobot Beetle ESP32 is a compact wearable-focused development board powered by the Espressif ESP32 Tensilica LX6 dual-core processor running at 240MHz. With built-in WiFi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 4.2 (BR/EDR/BLE), it delivers powerful wireless connectivity in a 35x34mm package.
The board features gold-plated honeycomb I/O pads designed for sewing into fabric, making it ideal for e-textile and wearable electronics projects. It exposes 4 digital pins, 4 analog inputs, I2C, and UART interfaces — enough for most compact sensor and actuator projects without adding bulk.
With 520KB SRAM and 16MB flash, the Beetle ESP32 supports Arduino IDE and MicroPython development. The flexible power input accepts 5V USB or 3.5-6.5V on the VIN pin. FCC, CE, TELEC, and KCC certifications make it suitable for products beyond prototyping.
