## Description

## Overview

The D-Robotics RDK X3 is an AI-focused single board computer designed for robotics and edge computing. It features the Sunrise 3 SoC with a quad-core ARM Cortex-A53 CPU at 1.5GHz paired with a 5 TOPS dual-core Bernoulli Processing Unit (BPU) for hardware-accelerated neural network inference.

With 4GB LPDDR4 RAM, dual MIPI CSI camera inputs, 4K@60fps H.265 video encoding/decoding, and Gigabit Ethernet, the RDK X3 is built for computer vision and robotics applications. The Raspberry Pi 4B-compatible 40-pin GPIO header provides access to I2C, SPI, UART, I2S, and PWM interfaces, along with broad accessory compatibility.

The board runs Ubuntu 20.04/22.04 with native ROS2 support, making it a turnkey platform for building autonomous robots, smart home systems, and AI-powered applications. WiFi and Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity, USB 3.0, and HDMI 1.4 output round out a comprehensive feature set for both development and deployment scenarios.
