Overview

The BigTreeTech CEB (CAN Expansion Board) is a power distribution hub that simplifies wiring for multi-toolhead or multi-device CAN bus setups on Klipper printers. It accepts a single 24V + CAN input from the U2C or mainboard and distributes it across multiple identical 24V + CAN output ports, allowing toolhead boards like the EBB36 or EBB42 to be daisy-chained with clean, standardized connectors.

Key Features

The CEB provides several JST-style CAN + 24V pass-through ports for connecting multiple BigTreeTech CAN toolhead boards simultaneously. It does not contain an MCU of its own — it functions as a passive distribution board with a CAN bus and power rail splitter. This makes it ideal for printers with multiple independent toolheads or large numbers of CAN devices. The board is compact and designed to mount neatly inside a printer electronics enclosure.
