Overview

The Radxa E25 is a compact fanless gateway and networking board built around the industrial-grade Rockchip RK3568J quad-core Cortex-A55 SoC. Designed for edge networking and IoT deployments, it features dual 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet ports — making it a capable software-defined router or network appliance — alongside four USB 3.0 Type-A ports, a mini-PCIe slot with a dedicated SIM card slot for LTE/5G modem expansion, and an M.2 slot for NVMe storage.

Available with 2 GB or 4 GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 8 GB of eMMC flash, the E25 is housed in a compact enclosure designed for wall or DIN-rail mounting. The RK3568J variant of the SoC is rated for extended industrial temperature ranges, making it suitable for outdoor or harsh-environment deployments. There is no onboard WiFi, but wireless connectivity can be added via the mini-PCIe slot.

Armbian provides standard-support images with both mainline and vendor kernels in minimal/IoT and full desktop configurations. The E25 is well-suited for running OpenWrt, pfSense alternatives on Linux, VPN concentrators, or local network services at the edge.
