Overview
The NanoPi Zero2 is an ultra-compact Linux SBC measuring just 45×45mm, powered by the Rockchip RK3528A quad-core Cortex-A53 at 1.8GHz. Available with 1GB or 2GB LPDDR4X RAM, it packs Gigabit Ethernet, an M.2 E-Key slot for WiFi modules, USB 2.0, and 4K HDMI output into a remarkably small and affordable package starting at $18.
A 30-pin FPC GPIO connector provides SPI, UART, I2C, PWM, and 20 GPIOs for hardware projects, while the eMMC module support and microSD slot offer flexible storage options. The onboard 16MB SPI NOR flash enables quick boot capabilities.
Running Ubuntu, Debian, FriendlyWrt, Alpine Linux, or OpenMediaVault on a Linux 6.1 LTS kernel, the Zero2 is ideal for headless IoT nodes, lightweight network appliances, home automation controllers, and embedded Linux projects where minimal size and cost are priorities.
