The BigTreeTech ESP8266 WiFi Module is a compact wireless expansion module designed to add WiFi connectivity to BTT 3D printer mainboards such as the SKR series. Based on the popular Espressif ESP8266 chipset, it enables remote monitoring and control of printers running Marlin, RepRapFirmware, or Klipper.

The module is available in two form factors: ESP12S and ESP-07, both providing 802.11 b/g/n WiFi at 2.4GHz with serial UART communication. It connects to BTT mainboards via a dedicated expansion header, allowing the board to communicate wirelessly with tools like OctoPrint or the Duet Web Control interface.

The module ships pre-flashed and is designed for easy plug-and-play integration. As an open-source BigTreeTech product, hardware files are available in the BTT Expansion Module GitHub repository. It is compatible with the SKR V1.3, SKR V1.4, SKR V1.4 Turbo, and other BTT boards that have the WiFi expansion header.
