Overview
The Arduino UNO R4 Minima is the no-wireless sibling of the UNO R4 WiFi, delivering the same Renesas RA4M1 ARM Cortex-M4F microcontroller upgrade at a lower price point. Running at 48MHz with 256KB flash and 32KB SRAM, it offers a massive leap over the classic ATmega328P-based UNO R3 while maintaining full pin and shield compatibility.
New peripherals include a 12-bit DAC for analog output, CAN 2.0B bus for industrial communication, an on-chip operational amplifier, and USB-C with HID support for keyboard/mouse emulation. The board accepts 6-24V input voltage, making it suitable for a wider range of power supplies. An SWD connector enables advanced debugging with external tools.
The UNO R4 Minima is ideal for makers who want more processing power and modern peripherals without the added cost of WiFi/BLE connectivity. It runs the same Arduino IDE sketches and is fully compatible with the vast UNO shield ecosystem.
