## Description

## Overview

The TI SK-AM69 is Texas Instruments' flagship Jacinto evaluation platform, built around the AM69 processor featuring eight Arm Cortex-A72 cores running at up to 2.0 GHz alongside DSP cores and a massive 64 TOPS AI accelerator complex. This makes it one of the highest-performance evaluation boards in TI's lineup, targeting demanding edge AI, autonomous systems, and advanced industrial vision applications.

Equipped with 32 GB of LPDDR4 RAM and both eMMC and microSD storage, the SK-AM69 provides generous memory for running complex inference models and multi-camera vision pipelines. The board connects via Gigabit Ethernet and offers USB 3.0 and USB-C ports. A 12V DC power supply is required to support the board's performance envelope. The SoC's multi-domain architecture allows Linux to run on the A72 cores while real-time workloads execute on DSP and MCU subsystems.

Armbian brings mainline Linux support to the SK-AM69, enabling developers to evaluate TI's AI and vision SDK in a familiar Debian environment. This board is particularly well-suited for prototyping autonomous mobile robot (AMR) controllers, multi-camera AI inference pipelines, and high-throughput industrial inspection systems before committing to a production hardware design.
