The BigTreeTech TFT43/TFT50/TFT70 V3.0 series is a family of larger-format dual-mode touchscreen displays for 3D printers, available in 4.3-inch (TFT43), 5-inch (TFT50), and 7-inch (TFT70) variants. All three share the same firmware and feature set, differing only in physical screen size. The displays are powered by the same STM32F207VCT6 ARM Cortex-M3 at 120MHz as the TFT35 series.
Like the rest of the BIGTREETECH TFT lineup, these displays support two operating modes: a full-color touchscreen mode via RS232 serial and a 12864 LCD emulation mode for Marlin compatibility. In TFT mode, users can control temperatures, start and monitor prints from an SD card or USB flash drive, and interact with a modern graphical interface. Mode switching requires only a button press.
All three variants connect to 3D printer mainboards via EXP1/EXP2 connectors and are powered at 5V DC. Firmware and icons are updated via microSD card. The entire firmware stack is open-source and shared with the TFT35 series in the BIGTREETECH TouchScreenFirmware repository on GitHub.
