## Description

## Overview

The Mekotronics R58-HD is a powerful multi-display computing platform based on three Rockchip RK3588 SoCs, designed for professional video wall and digital signage deployments. Each RK3588 chip features an octa-core ARM big.LITTLE CPU (4× Cortex-A76 @ 2.4GHz + 4× Cortex-A55 @ 1.8GHz), delivering exceptional parallel processing capability for driving multiple high-resolution displays simultaneously.

With 6 HDMI outputs, the R58-HD can drive a 6-screen video wall or display independent content on each screen, making it ideal for retail signage, broadcast, and command center applications. The board also features HDMI input capability, multiple USB ports, and up to 5 Ethernet ports for robust connectivity. Each RK3588 integrates a 6 TOPS NPU for edge AI inference tasks.

The R58-HD runs Armbian (Debian/Ubuntu-based Linux), giving users full control over the OS and software stack. It supports standard Armbian builds and benefits from the active Armbian community for long-term software support.
