## Description

## Overview

The LattePanda Mu N100 is a credit-card-sized (69.6 x 60mm) x86 compute module built around the Intel Processor N100, a quad-core chip with up to 3.4GHz turbo boost and a configurable TDP from 6W to 35W. With 8GB LPDDR5 RAM (IBECC-supported) and 64GB eMMC 5.1 storage, it delivers full Windows 10/11 and Ubuntu compatibility in a compact, embeddable form factor.

The module exposes an extensive I/O set through its edge connector: up to 9 PCIe 3.0 lanes, 3 HDMI/DisplayPort outputs (4K@60Hz), 8 USB 2.0 ports, up to 4 USB 3.2 Gen2 ports (10Gbps), 2 SATA 3.0 ports, and 64 expandable GPIOs. This makes it highly versatile for building custom NAS devices, network routers, industrial controllers, and thin clients.

LattePanda provides open-source KiCAD carrier board reference designs on GitHub, enabling hardware developers to design custom carrier boards tailored to their specific application. Official carrier boards include a Lite Carrier ($39) for basic evaluation and a Full-Function Evaluation Carrier ($89) with comprehensive I/O breakout. The module's compact size and flexible TDP (fanless at 6W) make it ideal for space-constrained embedded deployments.
