ESPHome Display Component for LILYGO T5 4.7" V2.3 (ESP32-S3)
A custom ESPHome external component enabling the LILYGO T5 4.7-inch ESP32-S3 (V2.3 Plus) e-paper display to work with ESPHome YAML, enabling Home Assistant dashboards, weather, and sensor data rendering.
Overview
The esphome-lilygo-t547plus project provides a custom ESPHome Display component specifically for the LILYGO T5 4.7-inch ESP32-S3 (V2.3, also called "Plus") e-paper display — not to be confused with the older ESP32-based T5 4.7 V1.
With this component, you can use standard ESPHome YAML to draw text, graphs, icons, and sensor values on the large 960×540 e-paper panel, fully integrated with Home Assistant. Typical use cases include weather dashboards, sensor summaries, temperature graphs, stock/currency tickers, and calendar displays.
