Overview

The T-Camera Plus S3 is a feature-rich ESP32-S3 development board designed for camera and audio applications. Built around the ESP32-S3R8 module with 16MB flash and 8MB PSRAM, it provides substantial resources for real-time image processing, streaming, and audio output.

Two camera variants are available: H703 with OV2640 (2MP, $30.06) and H703-01 with OV5640 (5MP, $36.54). Both feature onboard audio capability via an onboard microphone for audio capture and a MAX98357A Class D amplifier driving a built-in speaker for audio output — enabling voice assistant, surveillance, and multimedia applications.

WiFi 802.11 and Bluetooth 5 with mesh support are provided for wireless connectivity. The board also features voltage detection for battery monitoring. Programming support is available for Arduino IDE and VS Code with ESP-IDF or PlatformIO.

Firmware Compatibility

The T-Camera Plus S3 is compatible with Arduino IDE and VS Code (PlatformIO or ESP-IDF). Camera streaming examples using the ESP32 camera library are available through the LILYGO GitHub organization.
