Overview

The LILYGO ESP32 OLED V3.0 is a budget-friendly ESP32 development board that pairs the powerful ESP32 microcontroller with a 0.96-inch OLED display. Featuring dual-core processing at 240MHz with up to 600 DMIPS, 520KB SRAM, 4MB Flash, and integrated WiFi 802.11 b/g/n HT40 with a built-in antenna, it covers the basics for most IoT projects.

The board includes a lithium battery charging circuit with a JST 2-pin 1.25mm connector for portable operation, and USB Type-C for programming and power. An enhanced variant (G511+Q320) bundles the T-U2T USB-to-TTL adapter for additional flexibility. The board targets engineers, students, and makers looking for an affordable entry point into ESP32 development with a visual output.

Firmware Compatibility

The ESP32 OLED V3.0 is compatible with Arduino IDE, ESP-IDF, and MicroPython. The SSD1306 OLED library and standard ESP32 WiFi/BT libraries apply. Example code is available at https://github.com/Xinyuan-LilyGO/T96-OLED-SSD1306.
