T-Glass iOS Notification Display and Image Capture App

Custom ESP-IDF applications for the LILYGO T-Glass V2 smart glasses, including a BLE-based iOS notification mirror (ANCS) and a remote image capture app, showcasing the wearable AMOLED prism display platform.

Boards:ESP32-S3
Firmware:ESP-IDF
Use Cases:WearableDisplay & Dashboard

Overview

This repository provides custom applications for the LILYGO T-Glass V2, a $60 ESP32-S3–powered smart glasses platform with a 1.1" LTPS AMOLED display viewed through a prism lens. The project demonstrates what is possible with the T-Glass's combination of Wi-Fi/BLE, Bosch BHI260AP motion sensors, integrated microphone, PCF85063A RTC, and single touch button.

Applications

ANCS Notification App — Uses Apple Notification Center Service (ANCS) over BLE to mirror incoming iOS notifications onto the glasses' AMOLED display. Allows the wearer to see calls, messages, and app alerts in their field of view without pulling out a phone.

Image Capture App — A BLE companion application that streams captured images to the T-Glass display, demonstrating the glasses as a heads-up viewfinder or image relay device.

Technical Details

All applications are written using the ESP-IDF framework directly, giving full control over BLE profiles, display drivers (JD9613 AMOLED), and the BHI260AP smart sensor hub. The project is ESP-IDF based rather than Arduino, making it a good starting point for developers who want low-level access to all hardware peripherals. Source, schematics, and a YouTube demo video are linked from the repository.
