LVGL Analog Clock for T-RGB Round Display

An analog clock application for the LILYGO T-RGB 2.1-inch round display, using LVGL 8 on ESP32-S3 with NTP synchronization, WiFi configuration, and a clean circular watchface layout.

Boards:ESP32-S3
Firmware:ArduinoPlatformIO
Use Cases:Display & Dashboard

Overview

This project builds a functional analog clock on the LILYGO T-RGB's 480×480 round display using LVGL 8.3.6 and the Arduino GFX library. The round form factor makes it an ideal platform for clock faces — the circular LCD fills the whole bezel with a watchface-style design.

Features

WiFi credentials and timezone are configured in the sketch, and the clock syncs to an NTP server on startup for accurate timekeeping. The LVGL arc and line drawing primitives render hour, minute, and second hands against a circular dial. The capacitive touch layer of the T-RGB's display is also wired in via the OneButton library for user interaction.

Build Details

Built with PlatformIO and managed via GFX Library for Arduino 1.4.2, OneButton 2.5.0, and LVGL 8.3.6. Written in C with minimal C++ glue code. The repository is specifically documented for the LilyGO T-RGB 2.1-inch half-circle display module with full platform configuration instructions included. This is a clean starting point for any round-display clock or watchface project on the T-RGB.
