LILYGO T-U2T

Overview

The LILYGO T-U2T is a compact USB-to-TTL serial adapter designed specifically to program LILYGO development boards that do not have an integrated USB-to-serial chip. It uses the CH9102 chip, which supports up to 4Mbps data transfer rates, and features both Type-C male and female connectors for easy pass-through connectivity.

The T-U2T includes an automatic download circuit that handles the DTR/RTS signaling required to automatically reset the target ESP32 board into bootloader mode, eliminating the need to manually hold BOOT or press RST buttons during flashing. A boot button and power indicator LED are also included for manual control when needed.

This adapter is compatible with boards such as the T-Relay, T8-C3, T-Zigbee, and other LILYGO modules that expose UART pins but lack a USB bridge. CH9102 drivers are available for both macOS and Windows from the WCH website.
