Overview
The LILYGO 0.96 Inch OLED is a small monochrome display module intended as an add-on for LILYGO development boards such as the T-Beam and T-SIM series, as well as any other microcontroller board with I2C support. The module uses the SSD1306 display controller and communicates over I2C using just two GPIO pins, making it extremely easy to integrate.
The display measures 27.0mm x 27.0mm x 4.1mm and operates from 3.3V to 5V without modifications, covering both 3.3V ESP32/RP2040 systems and 5V Arduino platforms. At 0.96 inches with a 128x64 pixel resolution, it provides enough space to display sensor values, status text, icons, and simple graphics. The white-on-black display has a viewing angle greater than 160 degrees and consumes only 0.04W during normal operation.
The module includes a 4-pin connector (not pre-soldered) for flexible mounting. It is compatible with Arduino, STM32, MSP430, 51-series microcontrollers, and any platform with I2C support. For LILYGO boards, use the Adafruit SSD1306 library or the u8g2 library in Arduino for easy display control.
