Oui-Spy Unified Blue Firmware

The Unified Blue firmware is the recommended all-in-one firmware for the Oui-Spy board, combining four distinct detection modes into a single flashable image. Users select their operating mode from a WiFi boot menu at 192.168.4.1 (SSID: oui-spy, password: ouispy123), and the device reboots into the chosen mode.

Four Operating Modes

Mode 1: Detector

Configurable BLE scanner that watches for target devices by MAC address, OUI prefix, or device name patterns. Provides audio and visual alerts via buzzer and NeoPixel LED. Web dashboard enables watchlist management and scan result review.

Mode 2: Foxhunter

RSSI-based proximity tracker functioning like a Geiger counter for Bluetooth. Select a target MAC address, then follow increasing audio feedback as you approach the device. Real-time signal strength monitoring via dashboard.

Mode 3: Flock-You

Specialized surveillance hardware detector identifying Flock Safety cameras and Raven gunshot detectors through multiple heuristics: 20 known MAC prefixes, device name patterns, BLE manufacturer company IDs, and Raven service UUID identification. Supports GPS wardriving on Android Chrome.

Mode 4: Sky Spy

Passive drone detection monitoring FAA Remote ID (Open Drone ID) WiFi beacons. Extracts telemetry including serial numbers, GPS coordinates, altitude, speed, heading, and operator location from ASTM F3411 compliant broadcasts.

Installation

Flash pre-compiled binaries using the included Python script without PlatformIO, or build from source using platformio.ini. Uses custom partitioning with approximately 6MB app and 2MB LittleFS storage.

Hold the BOOT button for 2 seconds to return to the mode selection menu at any time.
